Simonhöhe

Only a few kilometres from Feldkirchen lies a skiing paradise for the whole family – the friendly winter resort Simonhöhe in St. Urban. Well-groomed and secure slopes as well as cozy places to stop for a drink or something to eat round off the perfect skiing day. Simonhöhe resort offers flat hills providing the ideal terrain for beginner skiers whether children or grown-ups. However, pistes of all degrees of difficulty make sure also experienced skiers can challenge their proficiency.


Hochrindl

Gerlitzen

From Feldkirchen it only takes 30 minutes by car to get to the most centrally located ski resort of all Carinthia offering 15 modern lift facilities with a total of 51 km of pistes. Natural hilly slopes leading in all directions fulfill every expectation you may have on a varied skiing day which might come to an end in one of the many cozy, inviting ski huts. Turracher Höhe

The winter resort Turracher Höhe is one of Austria’s most reliable snow regions and just a 30 minutes’ car drive from Feldkirchen. 38 piste kilometres of all levels of difficulty guarantee unlimited variety. Steep hills, off-piste runs as well as perfect downhill slopes for carvers ensure ultimate winter fun. Those still in need of improving their skiing or snowboard skills will be prepared for the slopes by experienced ski school professionals. 100 kilometres of pistes, 25 modern lift facilities and 23 ski huts ensure diverting outings in the ski area of Bad Kleinkirchheim – St. Oswald. While the little ones are entertained in the children’s wonderland, the grown-ups can test their skills on the speed measurement piste. Try your hand at the “Style Check” where professional skiers will take a look at your skiing style.

Falkert

Just 30 minutes by car from Feldkirchen, Falkert, at an altitude of 1,700 up to 2,300 m, is the highest situated skiing village in Carinthia offering perfect conditions without any hectic on overcrowded slopes. Children as well as beginners will feel particularly well in Heidi's ski park & Peter's snow land, carvers and snowboarders will love the wide downhill slopes and those interested in ski touring will enjoy the breathtaking view from Falkert summit.
